This Privacy Policy describes how ClipSync ("we", "us", or "Service") operated by Tonal Chaos collects, uses, and protects information when you use our multi-platform video distribution tool.

2. Information We Collect

OAuth Tokens: When you connect social media accounts (YouTube, TikTok, Instagram), we store OAuth access and refresh tokens to enable uploads on your behalf.

Video Metadata: We temporarily process video titles, descriptions, tags, and file data you provide to facilitate uploads to third-party platforms.

Upload History: We store a record of your recent uploads locally in your browser's localStorage to display your upload history.

Account Information: We may store your channel/account name from connected platforms for display purposes.

3. How We Use Information

We use collected information solely to:

• Authenticate and authorize uploads to your connected social media accounts
• Process and transmit video content to the platforms you select
• Display upload status and history
• Maintain and refresh access tokens as required by platform APIs

4. Data Storage

Server Storage: OAuth tokens are stored securely in Netlify Blobs with encryption. Tokens are only accessible by your authenticated session.

Local Storage: Upload history is stored in your browser's localStorage and never transmitted to our servers.

Video Content: Videos are transmitted directly to third-party platforms and are not stored on our servers.

5. Third-Party Services

This Service integrates with:

• YouTube (Google): Subject to Google's Privacy Policy
• TikTok: Subject to TikTok's Privacy Policy
• Instagram (Meta): Subject to Meta's Privacy Policy
• Netlify: Hosting and serverless functions provider

Your use of these platforms is subject to their respective privacy policies. We do not control and are not responsible for third-party privacy practices.

6. Data Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or share your personal information with third parties except:

• To transmit content to platforms you explicitly authorize
• As required by law or to protect our legal rights
• With service providers (Netlify) necessary to operate the Service

7. Data Security

We implement reasonable security measures to protect stored tokens and data. However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Disconnect any platform at any time (which deletes stored tokens)
• Clear your upload history from localStorage
• Request deletion of your stored OAuth tokens
• Stop using the Service at any time

9. Cookies and Tracking

We do not use cookies or tracking technologies. OAuth flows may use temporary session state as required by platform authentication protocols.

10. Children's Privacy

This Service is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

11. International Users

This Service is operated in the United States. If you access it from outside the US, your information may be transferred to and processed in the US.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
